About Us
We deliver services that aim to tackle persistent social and economic disadvantages and educational underachievement to the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community across Sheffield with a particular focus on deprived neighbourhoods of Fir Vale and Burngreave.

Our Services

Adult Classes
We are an established community training provider currently delivering an all-inclusive range of high quality accredited ESOL and basic skills.

Young People
Our approach to supporting children & young people puts their needs at the heart of everything we do.

Older People
We recognise that it is important that older people are able to enjoy a better quality of life.

Arabic School
The Arabic Language School is one of the long standing and highly demanded projects we support.

Preschool
The Fir Vale pre-school is a 38 place full day care OFSTED registered setting which provides childcare for working parents or parents who access training.

Help & Advice
The Welfare and Advice Centre has built up a long standing reputation for the provision of generalist and specialist advice work at the Fir Vale centre.

- Eid Al-AdhaTo all our clients, learners and gym members. ACT at the Fir Vale Centre will be closed on Friday the 8th of July. Our gym will be closed both Friday and Saturday in observance of Eid Al-Adha. We will be back open for business on Monday the 11th of July. We wish all who celebrate
- Arabic School Celebrates AchievementsAspiring Communities Together will be holding a celebration event to award its hard working arabic school pupils for their academic efforts and achievements this year. Huge thanks goes out to our excellent teachers too. All parents and ACT members are welcome to join. The ceremony will be at Hadfield Institute on Attercliffe Common on Saturday
- Come Work For USCommunity Progression Mentor wanted, full time – 12 month contract (subject to funding). The Progression Mentor will work with 18-24 year olds, delivering information, advice, and guidance on a one to one basis with young people. Please see our opportunities page for more information and a job description. Start date 6th June
